面签问题

  1. Why did you come to America? 我想要参加一个为期 1 个月的临床观摩活动,在 California Heart and Vein Specialists。这是邀请函。

I want to attend a one-month unpaid clinical observership at California Heart and Vein Specialists. Here’s the invitation letter.

  1. What exactly will you do there?

I will observe cardiology practice and see how routine medical activities are done in the United States. I will not participate in any hands-on medical activities.

  1. Why are you applying for a B-1 visa?

Because the visit is temporary, unpaid and strictly observational. There will be no employment and no patient care. The host institution also states in the invitation letter that a visitor visa is required.

  1. Who invited you?

Dr. Majed Chane from CA Heart and Vein Specialists in Huntington Beach, California.

  1. How did you find this observership?

I found the program through its official website and contacted the program directly.

  1. Why did you choose this clinic?

I want to observe how routine medical practice operates in the US. The program provides a short and focused opportunity to observe cardiovascular practice in the United States. I will use the experience to support my medical education after I return to China.

  1. How long will you stay?

From November 27, 2026, to January 4, 2027.

  1. Why does the letter say four weeks when the dates cover approximately five weeks?

Because they’re taking a few days off for the Christmas holiday, they extended it by a few days to compensate.

  1. Where will you stay?

I will stay at a rented room in Huntington Beach. I have the rental agreement with me.

  1. What do you do in China?

I am a full-time graduate student in clinical medicine at Xi’an Jiaotong University.

  1. When will you graduate?

I expect to complete my graduate degree in June 2027. After returning from the United States, I need to continue my thesis research and complete the university’s graduation requirements.

  1. Are you preparing for the USMLE?

Yes, I am considering/preparing for the USMLE as part of my long-term professional development. But I want to apply for and complete a PhD program in China first, and only then consider residency.

  1. Who will pay for your trip?

My mother will pay for the trip. Would you like to see a sponsor letter?

  1. What does your mother do?

She is a director at a chemical cooperation.

  1. Have you traveled abroad before?

Yes. I previously traveled to Switzerland for a training program at UN and WHO in Geneva. To broaden my horizons and improve my personal skills.

  1. You are young, single and unemployed. Why should I believe you will return?

My degree is still in progress, and I must return to Xi’an Jiaotong University to continue my research and complete my thesis and graduation requirements. I have no employment or residency position in the United States.
