Part 1: Self-Introduction (自我介绍)
Good morning/afternoon, esteemed interviewers. It is a great pleasure to introduce myself. My name is [Your Name], and I am currently a second-year master’s student majoring in Clinical Medicine at Xi’an Jiaotong University. My primary research focus lies at the intersection of medicine and technology, specifically in bioinformatics and the renal cancer microenvironment. Through my research, I analyze complex high-throughput biological data to identify potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets for kidney cancer patients. Outside of my academic and research endeavors, I lead a highly active lifestyle. I am passionate about outdoor activities such as hiking and rock climbing, which constantly challenge my mental resilience and physical limits. I also enjoy regular fitness training to maintain peak energy, and I have a strong passion for coding, which serves as a powerful tool to bridge my logical thinking with my medical research.
Part 2: Personal Experience (个人经历)
During my time at university, I have actively sought opportunities to use my skills to help others. Recognizing the steep learning curve that many clinical students and researchers face when entering the field of bioinformatics, I began offering peer-to-peer mentoring. I have helped many classmates and colleagues learn how to leverage AI tools to solve complex research questions and optimize their workflows. To reach a broader audience, I compiled my methods and experiences into a book that explains how to practically utilize AI in research. With my book and hands-on workshops, I’ve helped people make programming and machine learning feel less intimidating. Together, we’re building a more collaborative, tech-focused community where scientific innovation feels more accessible to everyone.
